WELCOME TO THE COACH

The Coach & Horses Hotel has been part of Randwick’s story since the mid-1800s.

Built in 1856 and originally operated by John Grice, it was one of the area’s earliest hotels and became closely connected with horse racing and the growing Randwick community.

In 1859, the site played an important role in local transport and communication, with the first Randwick-to-Sydney horse-drawn omnibus and mail service operating from here.

Today, the heritage-listed Coach & Horses remains an important landmark at Randwick Junction – and a great place to grab a meal and let your hair down!
